Hi there! My name is Wil Sisney, and this is my blog, where I write about SQL Server and other technical topics that interest me.

At Work

I am a Database Engineer, living in Phoenix, AZ.  I primarily work on Microsoft SQL Server, and specialize in integrating high-performance database solutions.  I also teach others about SQL Server through corporate training, user group and virtual chapter meetings, and trough events like SQL Saturday.

Here’s are the other locations where you can find me online:

I also run www.SQLTrainingCalendar.com, a website that collects all of the SQL Server training events that I can find.  Many of the events are free.  We have a wonderful community of data professionals supporting SQL Server, and encourage you to join in!

At Play

When I’m not tuning databases and speaking about SQL Server, I work with a team of fantastic and creative nerds running www.EatYourComics.com.  On that site we review comics, movies and television, along with all things nerdy.   Hop on over there to feed your nerdy hunger!
